The “lamparata” is a traditional night fishing technique carried out during the summer months, in which a powerful light mounted on a boat (called “lampara”) is used to illuminate the sea and attract fish to the surface. Once the fish gather in the illuminated area, they are caught using nets.
The catch is usually made up of small pelagic fish, which are then prepared and enjoyed directly on the beach.
The experience takes place in a convivial atmosphere with music and also includes the possibility of a night swim.
