An interactive journey dedicated to the principles, culture and lifestyle of the Mediterranean Diet, a UNESCO heritage born in the heart of Cilento.

The Ecomuseo della Dieta MEditerranea of Acciaroli it is a widespread cultural space dedicated to the protection and valorization of Mediterranean Diet , recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Located in the heart of Cilento , the museum tells of a lifestyle based on healthy eating , respect for the environment , relations 
social and local traditions .

Through exhibition itineraries, testimonies, agricultural practices and traditional knowledge, the Ecomuseo promotes a vision of diet 
mediterranean as a cultural model , identifying and sustainable, closely linked to the territory and the community of Acciaroli
 

The Ecomuseo presents itself as a meeting place, education and memory , aimed at visitors, schools and scholars, to convey the 
values ​​of conviviality , from the biodiversity and of well being which have characterized this territory for centuries.
