The activity takes place at the organic farm “Il Sentiero del Riccio”, a didactic farm surrounded by nature in the Zuppino hamlet, in the municipality of Sicignano degli Alburni.
Through both theoretical and practical activities, participants will learn about natural farming techniques and observe rural life up close in an organic farm setting. The workshop “The Pharmacy of Bees” focuses on the world of beekeeping: construction of wax sheets, observation of bees in the field, honey tasting and sensory analysis, with a possible live demonstration of honey extraction.
The experience also includes a light refreshment with farm and local products: herbal drinks and infusions made from wild herbs, local bread with honey, extra virgin olive oil tasting with crostini and freselle.

Recommended equipment: water bottle, waterproof closed shoes, comfortable trousers, hat, raincoat or waterproof jacket, spare clothes, camera, pen and pencil, notebook for notes.

For mixed groups, participants may be divided into subgroups followed by multiple specialized operators.
